🏊♂️ Tuesday, June 24 – Lapathon Fundraiser

Our first fundraiser of the season is here!

📍 Weaverville Pool

🕠 Arrival: 5:45 PM

🕕 Swim Time: 6:00–8:00 PM

✅ We still need 8 lap counters – this is an easy and essential job that counts toward your work bond hours.

🙏 We cannot run this event without lap counters and support from cheering families! Bring your energy and help keep the kids motivated to swim their hardest!

📅 Wednesday, June 25 – Last Day to Register for Gridley Meet

📍 Gridley Community Pool – 1989 E. Hazel Street, Gridley, CA 95948

🏁 This meet is THIS WEEKEND, so don’t wait – OME meets fill up fast!

💬 Also, please let the coaches know if your swimmer plans to attend!

🦈 Thursday, June 26 – Dual Meet @ Shasta Sharks (YMCA Redding)

🕓 Arrival: 4:45 PM

🕔 Meet Time: 5:00–6:00 PM

This will be a quick meet with only 25-yard events – a perfect opportunity for newer swimmers or anyone wanting more pool time!

🎉 4th of July Parade – Volunteer Opportunity

🚶♂️ We’ll be walking with our Waves float again this year – it’s a great tradition and the kids love it!

👟 We need a few parents to walk alongside the float (counts toward work bond hours!).

💙 New swimmers and returning – this is a super fun way to be part of the community!

🏆 Waves Invitational – Now Live on OME

The Waves Invitational meet is now available to register on OME Swim Connection.

Please don’t wait to sign up – if you need help, we’re happy to walk you through it.

❤️A little note to leave on everybody's mind is that we are going to have a big board change over this year. A few of us are moving away and we really want parents to be thinking about what capacity they would be able to help out and keep this team successful and thriving for years to come.
